BOOKING/RESERVATION POLICY:

Hotel Accommodation: To secure YOUR reservation, a 30% down payment is REQUIRED, funds HAVE TO BE cleared through our bank within 3 working days of invoice being issued (HENCE DATE OF INVOICE).

Accommodation other than hotels: To secure YOUR reservation, a 50% down payment is REQUIRED, funds HAVE TO BE cleared through our bank within 3 working days of invoice being issued (HENCE DATE OF INVOICE).

Tours/Activities: To secure YOUR reservation, a 100% down payment is REQUIRED, funds HAVE TO BE cleared through our bank within 3 working days of invoice being issued (HENCE DATE OF INVOICE).

Flight tickets: To secure YOUR reservation, a 100% down payment is REQUIRED, funds HAVE TO BE cleared through our bank within 3 working days of invoice being issued (HENCE DATE OF INVOICE).

The above is subject to your confirmed reservation is processed within 48 hours from time and date of receipt of this mail else a new quote is required.
Balance due on reservation is payable 8 weeks prior to arrival.

Credit card fees: We reserved the right to apply part of or the full credit card fees on individual services such as transport, activities as well as accommodation stay less then 2 nights or when a room night is below $ 100/ € 82. This is advised under the conditions of the individual service or at the point of the transaction.

CANCELLATION/REFUND POLICY:

Any modification or cancellation of a confirmed/PAID reservation for services; will entail additional charges equivalent to the corresponding costs charged by the service providers. These charges may include penalties, administration fees and bank charges.

If cancellations occur within seven days after booking of services, a 3% administration fee applies. Deposits for cancellation of confirmed services more than 7 days after booking are non-refundable.

Every service provider has their own cancellation policy and cancellation fee amount.
Maurisun has standardised these payment terms and cancellation fees in an effort to provide our clients with a standard policy. We will advise upon booking if conditions have become more restrictive. OUR General Conditions SUPERSEDES if GENERAL CONDITIONS ARE NOT STATED IN RESPECTIVE PRICE LIST or no special conditions are MENTIONED ON THE invoice.

We reserve the right to accommodate the traveller in the same type of accommodation and standard, if not better; in the event there is a case of overbooking or whenever the service provider fails to provide the availability.

Flight tickets: Flight tickets are FOR personal USE (BEARER OF NAME) and cannot be modified, transferred to or USED BY SOMEONE ELSE.

IN THE EVENTUALITY OF ANY CHANGES NEEDED TO BE MADE, we will ENDEAVOUR our utmost to facilitate REQUESTED changes before the SAID travel date; however, please be advised that most flight tickets are non-refundable and that our partners apply cancellation fees.

General Cancellation and refund Policy after full payment has been made:

Hotel Accommodation:
Cancellation within 14 days of booking: 50% of full amount refunded
Cancellation within 7 days of booking: 25% of full amount refunded
Cancellation within 72 hours of booking: 0% of full amount refunded
Cancellation for Peak Season reservation, within 45 days of booking: 0% of full amount refunded

Accommodation other than hotels:
Cancellation within 30 days of booking: 50% of full amount refunded
Cancellation within 14 days of booking: 25% of full amount refunded
Cancellation within 7 days of booking: 0% of full amount refunded
Cancellation for Peak Season reservation, within 60 days of booking: 0% of full amount refunded

Tours/Activities:
Cancellation within 14 days of booking: 50% of full amount refunded
Cancellation within 7 days of booking: 25% of full amount refunded
Cancellation within 72 hours of booking: 0% of full amount refunded
Cancellation for Peak Season reservation, within 30 days of booking: 0% of full amount refunded

Cancellation as per airline’s conditions

Travel Insurance:
Travellers are strongly advised to subscribe to adequate insurance covers relating to any activity throughout the trip. Travellers are advised to take up policies for risks relating to their transport, baggage losses, personal health complications or accidents and possible repatriation in case of death, hospitalisation, premature return tickets and trip cancellation in general.

DISCLAIMER:

We are not associated between any Accommodation provider (hotel, self catering or others), Activity and Transport provider other than being their official booking partner. Maurisun International can UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES be hold liable for any mismanagement, failure of equipment, structure, facilities or action taken by the provider and/or its staff, which result in injuries, death, delays, damage to personal belongings or another discomfort for the traveller. We will however, undertake to assist the traveller, during and after the incidence, in anyway possible and within our capacity such as address any complains or claims towards a provider, recording the event, suggestion alterative solutions and arranging these, if possible free of charge otherwise at a preferential rate.
